ハワイのレイに使われる南国の花木。白・ピンク・黄色など美しい花色と甘い香りが特徴。落葉性で冬は葉を落とし春に再び花を咲かせる。別名インドソケイ。
花色は、白系、赤系、黄色系が有ります。冬季と春季の初めにかけては、葉や花の無い坊主状態での発送になります。
