Description
Musa．×paradisiacaの3倍体雑種系のバナナで染色体構成からABB群の一栽培品種である。果実が熟すと甘くなり種の無い系統（宮崎モンキーバナナ）とデンプン質のままで種の有る系統がある。どちらも、栽培バナナの中では、もっとも低温に強く九州南部で露地で栽培できる。
甘くて、軟くて、非常に美味しい。種は殆ど有りません。どちらの種類も高さ1.2m～3.0m（10号～13号鉢）を生産。露地栽培品は、高さ4mまで有る。
