Description
常緑多年草で根は太く、また茎は高さ2～3mになるが、園芸的には、1～2mが一般的である。6～7月に花をつける。花は長さ30cmくらいで穂状花序で、各花は白く縁は黄色で先端が赤く非常に美しい。
